Challenge Coin, Recovered
- Description
- Recovered U.S. Secret Service challenge coin. The coin features the Statue of Liberty, the skyline with the Twin Towers and United Nations Building, and an apple on the front with surrounding raised text that reads: "UNITED STATES SECRET SERVICE | NEW YORK FIELD OFFICE." On the back of the coin is the U.S. Secret Service insignia. The coin appears burned, heavily scratched, discolored, and dirty.

- This recovered challenge coin bearing the U.S. Secret Service insignia was collected from the ruins of 7 World Trade Center in the days after 9/11 by a Secret Service agent assisting rescue and recovery efforts at Ground Zero.
