- Description
- Untitled foam core submission board designed for the World Trade Center Site Memorial Competition in 2003. This design plan is an ambitious construction project that suggested turning the WTC site into a new port serving the Hudson River. The first phase of construction would last 20 years, cutting a canal from the North Cove across the island to the East River. By 2101, the entire bottom half of Lower Manhattan would be split from the rest of the peninsula. The design also included the creation of nine chapels across the world to symbolize the impact of 9/11 at a global scale.
