Design Plan
- Description
- Untitled foam core submission board designed for the World Trade Center Site Memorial Competition in 2003. This design plan features two large pyramid structures with flat tops at street level replacing the footprints of the towers. The steps of the pyramids can be used for seating. Around the pyramids, the designer imagined a grassy area and sculpture garden for which artists from around the world would be commissioned to create sculptures of the word “Remember” in their respective languages. There is also a stage to accommodate ceremonies.
