Memorial Monument
- Description
- Foam core submission board designed for the World Trade Center Site Memorial Competition in 2003, titled “Memorial Monument.” This design plan features a large stainless steel monument that replicates the towers but with a circle joining them at the top, almost as a halo. There would also be smaller replicas of the monument placed around the United States in different locations. This plan also includes individual luminaries for each victim bearing their name and an inscription or perhaps an image. The luminaries would fill the towers' footprints.
