Celestial Memorial
- Description
- Foam core submission board designed for the World Trade Center Site Memorial Competition in 2003, titled “Celestial Memorial.” This design plan proposes a spotlight on the plaza for each victim, projecting a light into the heavens as if creating new stars in a constellation. A satellite dish at the center of the site receives the list of victim names and broadcasts them in radio waves to be received by a satellite launched into space above New York City.
