Design Plan
- Description
- Untitled foam core submission board designed for the World Trade Center Site Memorial Competition in 2003. This design plan features over 2,000 floating buoys that resemble a cloud. The buoys are anchored together over the tower footprints, and the anchors become the pillars of the structural Memory Web. The designer intended for the buoys to detach and float away eventually, symbolizing healing. What remains are the pillars of the Memory Web.
