Design Plan
Twin Arches of Triumph
- Description
- Foam core submission board designed for the World Trade Center Site Memorial Competition in 2003, titled “Twin Arches of Triumph.” This design plan involves twin arches anchored to the North and South Tower footprints which help support the Slurry Wall. The arches are meant to symbolize indestructible power. Colored panels meet at the point of the arches and reflect the sunlight across the space. Stones below the arches include the names of the victims.
