Design Plan
- Description
- Untitled foam core submission board designed for the World Trade Center Site Memorial Competition in 2003. This design plan evokes the inspirational symbolism of the rainbow. Ninety-two obelisks will be constructed from crystal. The top of each obelisk contains a prism designed to maintain a refractory angle that creates a rainbow across the site in concert with the other prisms. At the base of each obelisk are the etched names of victims as well as space for visitors to write their sentiments on an interactive electronic display.
