- Untitled foam core submission board designed for the World Trade Center Site Memorial Competition in 2003. This design is meant to represent the physical mourning that unified the world after 9/11. Landscaped groves of dogwood trees lead visitors down a hall. Everything is green (new life), white (smoke), scarlet (flames), and black (death). Both the attacks and the cycle of life are reflected in these colors. The journey that the visitor takes leads them to various spaces with an interpretive presentation of events. At the center of the hall is a white chamber with four cenotaphs made from white marble and engraved with victim's names. At the center of the cenotaphs, a polished black stone would represent the spirit and unification of souls departed.
