Design Plan
Resonance
- Description
- Foam core submission board designed for the World Trade Center Site Memorial Competition in 2003 titled, “Resonance.” This design plan proposes building a column for each victim that would be set below street level and infinitely “grounded” to the space. As wind travels through the field of hollow columns, it creates a breath-like sound. Visitors can descend into the field and walk amongst them.
