The Whispering Memorial
- Description
- Foam core submission board designed for the World Trade Center Site Memorial Competition in 2003, titled “The Whispering Memorial.” This design plan is participatory. Visitors will approach a station with a microphone and are able to select a victim's name to speak into the microphone. The audio will be played back across the site, creating an array of names whispered at random.
