- Description
- Foam core submission board designed for the World Trade Center Site Memorial Competition in 2003, titled “Ascend.” This design plan is an audio collage creating an aural montage of the favorite songs of victims and their family members. Accompanying the audio is the idea of a “touch wall” screen for visitors to select a name, queuing corresponding photos and songs. Very few participants of the competition had close loved ones that were lost on 9/11. Shannon Curry Green lost her husband, Andrew Peter Charles Curry Green, that day and chose to submit an entry that highlighted the audio recordings of the deceased into a series of audio collages.
