A Sensorial Garden

Description: Foam core submission board designed for the World Trade Center Site Memorial Competition in 2003, titled “A Sensorial Garden.” This design plan focuses on using the senses of hearing, seeing, touching, and smelling. These senses are invoked through broadcast sounds from chosen media (hearing), four monuments intended to be viewed as abstractions of the events (seeing), glass engraved with victim names (touch), and various flora placed throughout the site (smell).
