Design Plan
- Description
- Untitled foam core submission board designed for the World Trade Center Site Memorial Competition in 2003. This design plan features a song pole which projects the original “hum” or sound vibration emitted from the Twin Towers. The base of the song pole will be placed in the middle of the memorial and engraved with the history of the terrorist attacks. The information will be written in a spiral so that visitors can walk around the pole while they read. The South Tower footprint would be paved with a terrazzo mixture combined with WTC debris to create an open space for gathering. The North Tower footprint would become a bell resonator.
