Reverberation of Remembrance
- Description
- Foam core submission board designed for the World Trade Center Site Memorial Competition in 2003, titled “Reverberation of Remembrance.” This design translates the sound of the collapsing towers into abstract video images. The video gives a visual representation of the sound and plays inside two Memorial Sound Vessels, one for each tower. Inside each vessel is the Hall of Names. Movement through the hall will trigger the recorded names of victims' to be heard as spoken by the voices of victims loved ones.
