Untitled foam core submission board designed for the World Trade Center Site Memorial Competition in 2003. This design includes changes to the site throughout the day, marking critical points. Hinged shutters, one for each victim, sway in the breeze. The shutters begin to close at 8:46 AM and completely close at 10:30 AM. At twilight, the shutters begin to open, and the cycle begins again every day. This design also includes cameras positioned around the site, allowing people to log into a website and view the site remotely, giving visitors and victims' families a sense of place without being present.
