- Description
- Foam core submission board designed for the World Trade Center Site Memorial Competition in 2003, titled “Optimistic, Energetic, Reverent.” This design plan focuses on landscape. The footprint of the North Tower will hold an eight-spoke rotating structure that supports images of landscapes. Victims' names would float onto the images. The South Tower footprint would be covered by an old growth forest that grows in height and density over time. Around the grove is a border with the names of the victims' countries of origin listed.
