Design Plan
- Description
- Untitled foam core submission board designed for the World Trade Center Site Memorial Competition in 2003. This design plan transforms the site into an amphitheater with a partial exposure of the Slurry Wall. An obelisk is placed at the lowest point of the amphitheater, casting shadows onto wall and marking time. Planting beds filled with a crop of corn are placed in the footprint of each tower. The crop would be harvested by family members of the victims every year, the food serving to affirm the cycle of life.
