The Human Face of Loss

- Foam core submission board designed for the World Trade Center Site Memorial Competition in 2003, titled “The Human Face of Loss.” Using inspiration from cave drawings, this design plan tells the story of 9/11 through visuals. With different walls, some interactive, this design breaks down language barriers. One wall would present the missing posters that covered the city in the aftermath. Another wall would allow visitors to leave their own reflections. The footprints of the towers would be filled with shallow infinity pools.
