Design Plan
A Digital Memorial
- Description
- Foam core submission board designed for the World Trade Center Site Memorial Competition in 2003 titled “A Digital Memorial.” This design plan uses the tower footprints as a large video screen where images, poems, videos, and other tributes can be displayed to represent the lives of the victims. This memorial would also exist on the internet at a dedicated website where anyone, anywhere, can search for a victim to see their display. The screen can be used to show anything else, making the entire site more active and inviting for public use like a park for community events and gatherings. The plan includes a list filled with a variety of ideas for screen content.
