Design Plan
Three Dimensional Holograph
- Description
- Foam core submission board designed for the World Trade Center Site Memorial Competition in 2003, titled “Three Dimensional Holograph.” This design plan features a 3D holographic recreation of the towers using the medium of light. The two towers appear as intensely bright constructions of light, a hologram without any physical presence. The names of the victims are not engraved anywhere but can be pulled into the hologram after being selected at a computer terminal used for visitor interaction. This design intends to use technology as a creative way to show hope for the future.
