- Recovered rabbit tool, made of steel and plastic and encrusted in dirt and dust. The number "4" is attached to its side.
- Historical Notes
- Rabbit tools, powered by a hydraulic pump, are used by firefighters to pry open doors and other objects that have become compressed or entwined. On 9/11, members of FDNY Engine Company 21 used a rabbit tool to free an individual trapped in an elevator in the North Tower’s lobby.
