- Black leather handgun holster issued by the NYPD Emergency Service Unit and worn on the officer utility belt. The holster has the ESU logo imprinted on the front.
- Historical Notes
- On 9/11, New York City Police Department’s Emergency Service Unit (ESU) teams responded to the unfolding disaster at the World Trade Center. These teams are trained to assist people trapped or injured in dangerous settings. Officer David Brink, assigned to ESU Squad 3, based in the Bronx, wore this gear as he joined rescue efforts in the North Tower.
