- Thin white terry-cloth hand towel with a P-touch label attached along the lower edge with text: "Sept. 11, 2001 Nina was at Chase Manhattan Plaza."
- Historical Notes
- JPMorgan Chase employee Nina Pelton carried this white towel to protect herself from inhaling dust and smoke on 9/11 as she evacuated lower Manhattan. Later, Pelton’s mother washed the towel, and Pelton attached the label to its lower edge that reads: "Sept. 11, 2001 Nina was at Chase Manhattan Plaza."
