- Gold-colored "WTC" metal lapel pin worn by security guards at the World Trade Center.
- Historical Notes
- This pin belonged to private security guard supervisor Mary Koretzky. She was posted on the B-1 level of the parking garage on February 26, 1993, when she was thrown off her feet by the force of the bomb exploding immediately below her. Koretzky remained on duty for many hours, assisting evacuees and guiding first responders and investigators to the bomb crater. She suffered from post-traumatic stress disorder as a result of her experience and was unable to continue in her job.
