Description
American Society for the Support of Injured Survivors of Terrorism lapel pin. The pin is gold-colored with raised text that reads "TERRORISM SURVIVORS | ASSIST" and the logo of a hand in the center.
Historical Notes
ASSIST, the American Society for the Support of Injured Survivors of Terrorism, was founded by Worley (Lee) and Joyce Reed, retired employees of the State Department’s U.S. Diplomatic Security Service and survivors of the August 7, 1998 bombing of the U.S. embassy in Nairobi, Kenya.
