- Gray long-sleeve T-shirt created in memory of Kenneth Tietjen. On the left breast of the shirt is black printed text: "In Memory of | P.O. Ken Tietjen | PAPD | September 11, 2001." Between the text is an image of a PAPD police badge with the number "1653."
- Historical Notes
- Teaneck, New Jersey, native Kenneth Tietjen lived in Matawan. He enjoyed riding dirt bikes with the son of his fiancée, Karen. Each year at Christmas, when Kenneth’s family purchased gifts for a needy family, Kenneth supplied a bicycle. He worked as a PAPD officer for nine years. On September 11, Officer Tietjen responded to the towers from the 33rd Street PATH station. He was 31 years old.
