- Small blue flag with the seal of the Department of Justice, Federal Bureau of Investigation, printed on the front. The flag was left at the 9/11 Memorial in memory of Leonard W. Hatton, Jr.
- Historical Notes
- Teaneck, New Jersey native Leonard Hatton lived with his wife, JoAnne, and their four children in Ridgefield Park, where he was a volunteer firefighter. As a New York Division FBI special agent, he earned numerous commendations. Heading to work on September 11, Special Agent Hatton saw smoke and fire coming from the North Tower and joined the rescue effort. He was 45 years old.

This flag was left on the S-26 parapet of the South Pool on the 9/11 Memorial for Leonard W. Hatton, Jr., on September 11, 2013.
