- Born in Brooklyn, Angel Perez grew up playing basketball and baseball. As an adult, he lived in Jersey City, New Jersey, and rooted for the New York Knicks. On September 11, Angel was near the top of the North Tower at Cantor Fitzgerald, where he worked as a senior clerk. He was 41 years old.
