- Description
- Recovered World Trade Center identification card issued to Paul Joseph Simon at Marsh & McLennan. The card shows significant damage with puncture marks and scratches. The card has a red background and a large white "V" in the center.
- Historical Notes
- Bronx-born Paul Simon met his wife of 31 years, Shelley, when they were teenagers. The couple lived on Staten Island and spent summer weekends at a New Jersey beach home, where Paul was the house expert at digging up and cooking clams. Paul ran a computer consulting firm, DAU Systems. On September 11, he was on the North Tower’s 97th floor at the offices of client Marsh & McLennan. He was 54 years old.
