Flashlight

Description: Large plastic flashlight in yellow and black with a black stand and a black fabric strap attached to the handle for carrying over a shoulder. “Brink E-3” is handwritten on the body of the flashlight in black marker.
Historical Notes: Many workers adapted tools and specialized equipment to make them more serviceable for the complicated rescue effort. This flashlight was used by NYPD ESU Detective David Brink while he worked on the site.
