- Award plaque belonging to Martin Lizzul. The award is a wooden plaque with a red placard and engraved text: "M.V.P. | Martin Lizzul | Half Hollow Hills | High School East | 1985." A medallion with a football and field goals printed on it is above the text.
- Historical Notes
- Martin Lizzul lived in Manhattan with Jean, his wife of three months. He grew up in Dix Hills, Long Island, and regularly returned to his parents’ home for holiday celebrations. Martin was an account executive for Kestrel Technology, a software supplier to Cantor Fitzgerald. On September 11, he was working on a project at Cantor’s offices high in the North Tower. Martin was 31 years old.
