- Plaque created in memory of Andrew Stergiopoulos. The plaque is black with silver printed text: "Andrew Stergiopoulos | Long Island Metropolitan Lacrosse Foundation | September 11, 2001 Memorial | We salute these heroes | They will live in our hearts and memories forever." The US Lacrosse and Long Island Metro Lacrosse Foundation logos are also printed on the plaque as well as a looped remembrance ribbon.

- Growing up in Great Neck on Long Island, Andrew Stergiopoulos played football, lacrosse, and hockey. He cofounded his college’s lacrosse team. After graduation, Andrew moved to New York City and joined Cantor Fitzgerald subsidiary eSpeed, where in his first year he helped develop more than 20 financial patents. On September 11, Andrew was at work on the North Tower’s 105th floor. He was 23 years old.
