- New York Yankees World Series lapel pin belonging to Tara E. Debek. The pin includes the Yankees' top hat/bat logo, the baseball stadium in gold, and text: "1996 World Series ★ New York Yankees." A banner crosses the front with text: "I Was There."
- Historical Notes
- Born in Lindenhurst, Long Island, Tara Debek lived in Babylon with her husband, Dariusz, and their infant daughter in a home shared with her sister’s family. Tara played event planner for the household, organizing many trips to Broadway shows and Disney World. On September 11, Tara was on the North Tower’s 98th floor at Marsh & McLennan, where she worked as a senior vice president. She was 36 years old.
