- Handwritten note left at the 9/11 Memorial in memory of Janet Ruth Gustafson. The note reads: "We will never forget you! | Love Mary & Siri." The note was written on part of a name rubbing sheet and partially torn.

- Raised in Santa Maria, California, Janet Gustafson lived in Manhattan with her husband, David. They had two children. Janet was a longtime Sunday school teacher at her Presbyterian church. At Aon Corporation, coworkers noted her sense of fun. At an office Christmas party, she once tied napkins into a jump rope. Janet was at work on the South Tower’s 99th floor on September 11. She was 48 years old.

This note was left on the S-69 parapet of the South Pool on the 9/11 Memorial for Janet Ruth Gustafson on September 11, 2015.
