- Short-sleeved button-up New York Mets jersey belonging to Ivan Antonio Perez. The jersey is black with the blue, white, and orange "Mets" logo embroidered in the center. On the back is printed "ORDONEZ | 10" for Mets shortstop Reynaldo Ordóñez Pereira.
- Historical Notes
- Born in Aguadilla, Puerto Rico, Ivan Perez lived in Brooklyn. On weekends, he visited his school-age son and daughter, taking them skating or to the movies. Ivan was engaged to Eileen Flecha, a coworker at Fiduciary Trust. He worked in operations on the 97th floor of the South Tower, while Eileen worked on the 94th floor. On September 11, both were in their offices. Eileen was 33 years old. Ivan was 37.
