Gloves
Description
Pair of black Ironclad brand gloves with leather padded palms and yellow details. The gloves are well worn and covered in dirt.
Historical Notes
Like many rescue and recovery workers, George Luis Torres, a firefighter with FDNY Squad 41, adapted equipment to meet specific needs at Ground Zero. Torres wore these gloves and used a garden trowel to dig through rubble.
