- Plastic hard hat with cap-style brim and interior suspension. The hard hat is yellow with a red cross on the front created with duct tape. The hard hat is slightly dusty.

Todd Wider was one of many medical volunteers who joined the emergency response on 9/11. When Wider received this hard hat upon arriving in lower Manhattan, he taped a red cross to the front to identify himself as a doctor.
Wider also contributed a written remembrance documenting his 9/11 experience.
