Hard Hat
- Description
- Plastic hard hat with cap-style brim and interior ratchet suspension. The hard hat is white with "DDC | Ed Sidor" handwritten in faded black marker on the front. The signature of former mayor Rudy Giuliani is on the hat brim. The hat is covered in a variety of trade and commemorative stickers, many patriotic in nature. A pin-back button with "Unbroken" printed on it is stuck into the lip of the hat.

- Ed Sidor, a project manager with the New York City Department of Design and Construction, wore this hard hat when he worked at Ground Zero throughout the recovery period.
