Memorial Card
- Description
- Memorial card created in memory of Daniel Lugo and left at the 9/11 Memorial. The front of the card features a photograph of Lugo and printed text: "Daniel Lugo | September 11, 2001." On the back of the card are the lyrics for the song God Bless America.
- Historical Notes
- Born in Puerto Rico, Daniel Lugo lived in New York City with his wife, Olga, and her four children. His stepchildren appreciated his caring nature, a quality that he also brought to his service as a youth leader and pastor at his Pentecostal church. Daniel worked as a security officer for Summit Security Services, assigned to the South Tower lobby. On September 11, he was at work there. He was 45 years old.

This prayer card was left on the S-65 parapet of the South Pool on the 9/11 Memorial for Daniel Lugo on September 11, 2012.
