Memorial Card
- Description
- Handmade memorial card created in memory of David Prudencio Lemagne. The card is a piece of paper with the Jersey City New Jersey Emergency Medical Services logo with typed text above: "In Memoriam | David P. LeMagne," and text below: "September 11, 2001 | Tour Chief - MC 250 | MICP 1889." The back of the card has an image of a blue looped memorial ribbon with the Twin Towers. The paper card is "laminated" with clear medical tape and has a safety pin at the top.
- Historical Notes
- Native New Yorker David Lemagne lived in North Bergen, New Jersey. He enjoyed cycling and playing softball. David volunteered with an ambulance corps at age 11 and earned a paramedic certificate in high school. He found work as a paramedic and then joined the PAPD as an officer in 2000. On September 11, Officer Lemagne responded to the towers from the Jersey City PATH Command. He was 27 years old.
