Sash
- Description
- Red, white, and blue sash created in memory of Joseph F. Holland. The sash has "JOE HOLLAND" printed in black on the white stripe, and there is white fringe on the ends.
- Historical Notes
- Born in the Bronx, Joseph Holland lived with his wife, Kathleen, and their newborn son in Glen Rock, New Jersey. He worked at the New York Mercantile Exchange near the World Trade Center as a crude oil trader for Carr Futures. On September 10, Joseph handed out cigars to colleagues to celebrate his son’s birth. On September 11, he was attending a meeting on the North Tower’s 92nd floor. He was 32 years old.

This sash was worn in memory of Joseph Holland in the St. Patrick’s Day parade, New York, March 17, 2002.
