- Silk scarf with a multicolored floral design belonging to Norma Lang Steuerle.
- Historical Notes
- Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, native Norma Steuerle lived in Alexandria, Virginia, with her husband, Eugene. The couple had two grown daughters. A clinical psychologist with her own practice, Norma also volunteered at community service events through her church. On September 11, she boarded Flight 77 on the first part of a journey to Asia, where her husband and a daughter were working. She was 54 years old.
Curator's Comment
Norma often wore scarves. This scarf was one of her favorites.
