Memorial Card

- Memorial card created in memory of Mary Lynn Edwards Angell and David Lawrence Angell. The card features a photograph of the couple with printed text that reads: "In loving memory of | David Lawrence Angell | Born April 10, 1947 | Lynn Edwards Angell | Born August 11, 1949 | Married August 14, 1971 | Entered into Eternal Rest | September 11, 2001." Handwritten at the bottom of the card reads: "and sister Marjorie Mancini, RSM Feb. 11, 2002." A shoelace is tied at the top left corner of the card.
- Historical Notes
- Birmingham, Alabama, native Lynn Angell lived in Pasadena, California, where she ran the library program at Hillsides School, a treatment center for abused and emotionally disturbed children. Lynn and her husband, David Angell, were building a dream home in Chatham, Massachusetts, on Cape Cod. On September 11, they boarded Flight 11 to return from Massachusetts to California. Lynn was 52 years old.
Providence, Rhode Island, native David Angell lived in Pasadena, California, with his wife of 30 years, Lynn Angell. The two spent their summers in Massachusetts and were building a house there. David was an award-winning creative and executive producer for several television shows. On September 11, he and Lynn boarded Flight 11 bound for Los Angeles to attend the Emmy Awards ceremony. David was 54 years old.
