- Memorial card created in memory of Christian Michael Otto Regenhard. The front of the card features a photograph of Regenhard dressed in his formal FDNY uniform. The back of the card includes printed text: "Christian Michael | Otto Regenhard | August 25, 1973 | Memorial: October 26, 2001" and two poems.
- Historical Notes
- Bronx-born Christian Regenhard spent five years as a U.S. Marine and attended college in San Francisco, California, before returning to the Bronx. He was a sportsman who liked rock climbing and scuba diving and a travel enthusiast who had visited 22 countries. Christian had been a firefighter for six weeks on September 11, when he responded with FDNY Ladder Company 131 to the towers. He was 28 years old.
