- Lisa Frost was born in Los Angeles, California. She graduated from Boston University in May 2001 as valedictorian with degrees in communications and hospitality administration. A sales representative for Where to Eat in Boston, Lisa was transferring to San Francisco, where the magazine planned to expand. On September 11, she was on Flight 175, returning to her parents’ home. She was 22 years old.
Curator's Comment
On the first anniversary of 9/11, Lisa Frost’s parents made a trip from LA to Boston and New York City. On the flight back, passengers passed this napkin around, penning notes as a show of support and comfort for the grieving family.
