- Y2K baseball cap belonging to Nicholas Craig Lassman. The cap is tan with "MSDW | Y2K | TEAM" embroidered on the front.
- Historical Notes
- Native New Yorker Nicholas Lassman worked as a golf pro in Florida before settling in Cliffside Park, New Jersey. He taught himself how to play the guitar, read Russian and German, and write computer programs, a skill that led to a job as a programmer at eSpeed, a subsidiary of Cantor Fitzgerald. On September 11, Nicholas was at work on the North Tower’s 103rd floor. He was 28 years old.

This cap was created by Nicholas's colleagues at Morgan Stanley Dean Witter to mark the year 2000.
