- Faded blue T-shirt belonging to Jim Sands, Jr. "CAYMAN ISLANDS | RED SAIL | DIVING" is printed on the front in white. Attached to the tag of the shirt is a card with handwritten text: "in memory of James ("Jim") Sands, Jr."
- Historical Notes
- Born in Point Pleasant, New Jersey, Jim Sands lived in Brick with his wife, Jennifer. An advanced-level scuba diver and amateur underwater photographer, Jim spoke of launching a career as a scuba instructor in Grand Cayman. In the meantime, he was a strategic development engineer at Cantor Fitzgerald subsidiary eSpeed. On September 11, Jim was at work on the North Tower’s 103rd floor. He was 38 years old.
