- Plaque created in memory of Stacey Sennas McGowan and placed at Grace Episcopal Church, New York City. Raised text on the plaque reads: "The Bells of Grace Church | Ring to the Glory of God | In Loving Memory of | Stacey Sennas McGowan | August 26, 1963 - September 11, 2001 | Rededicated February 19, 2005."
- Historical Notes
- Nyack, New York, native Stacey McGowan resided in Basking Ridge, New Jersey, with her husband, Thomas, and their two young daughters. Stacey was known for her cooking, her fondness for cribbage and other card games, and her penchant for giving long, strong hugs. A managing director at Sandler O'Neill & Partners, Stacey was on the 104th floor of the South Tower on September 11. She was 38 years old.
