- Born in Brooklyn, Andrew Friedman lived in Woodbury, Long Island, with his wife, Lisa, and their 11-year-old twin sons. On September 11, Andrew was settling into his new position as a vice president of equities trading at Carr Futures on the 92nd floor of the North Tower. After Flight 11 struck above his offices, Andrew called Lisa and told her that he was trapped. He was 44 years old.
